If other browsers display your Amazon in your preferred language, inspect the language and region settings of the affected browser. If Amazon is Spanish on all your browsers and devices, the problem most likely lies within your account settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1. Change Amazon Default Language<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Your first course of action should be to make sure Amazon\u2019s language isn\u2019t set to Spanish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On PC, click the flag icon<\/strong> next to the search bar and select your preferred language from the drop-down list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Alternatively, go to the Amazon Language Settings page<\/a>, select your language of choice and click Save Changes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On mobile, scroll to the bottom of the Amazon homepage or any product page and tap the globe icon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Select your preferred language and click Save Changes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If the language remains unchanged, refresh the page and check again. Amazon will also send an email confirming the updated language settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n To change your preferred language on the mobile app, tap the hamburger menu icon<\/strong> and go to Settings <\/strong>> Country & Language <\/strong>> Language<\/strong> and select the language available in your region. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Currently, Amazon supports 20 countries, each with different languages, prices, and shipping options. Amazon will display products and pages in Spanish if your preferred country\/region on the website is set to Spain or other Spanish-speaking countries<\/a> like Mexico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n To change Amazon\u2019s country\/region on your browser, click the flag icon next to the search bar and select Change country\/region<\/strong>. It\u2019s the link at the bottom of the drop-down card\u2014just in case the website isn\u2019t in English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Click the drop-down button<\/strong>, select your preferred country, and click the Go to website<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Your browser will open a new Amazon browser tab with the default language of the select country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On the mobile app, tap the menu icon and go to Settings <\/strong>> Country & Language <\/strong>> Country\/Region<\/strong>, and select a country in the Countries\/Regions available in English<\/strong> (or your preferred language) section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Many websites set the default on-page language using the visitor\u2019s geographic IP location. Visiting Amazon from a third-party website may reset Amazon\u2019s language to Spanish or other languages. From our research, we discovered that many affected users experienced this issue when they visit Amazon from Google or click on an Amazon product Ad on a third-party website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n There are two possible reasons why this language switch happens:<\/p>\n\n\n\n There\u2019s little you can do about the first two possibilities, but you can try changing the default language of your preferred search engine. Some websites also allow you to change your preferred language, so look out for that, too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you click on products on Google and you’re redirected to the Spanish version of Amazon, check the search engine\u2019s location settings and make sure its region isn\u2019t set to a Spanish-speaking country.
