Here, we\u2019ll show you how to share a Spotify playlist in the desktop, web, and mobile apps.\n<\/p>\n\n\n

Share a Spotify Playlist in the Desktop or Web App\n<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Spotify desktop app on Windows and Mac is almost identical to the web player on the Spotify website<\/a>. This means you can use the steps below to share playlists using either version.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Share With a Link or Embed Code\n<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
  1. Open the desktop app on your computer or visit the web player<\/a> in your browser and log into your Spotify account.\n<\/li>
  2. Choose the playlist you want to share on the left.\n<\/li>
  3. Select the three dots<\/span> for the playlist on the right.\n<\/li>
  4. Move your cursor to Share<\/span> and pick one of the sharing options below in the pop-out menu.\n<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n

    1. Copy link to playlist<\/span>: This places the URL for your playlist on your clipboard and you\u2019ll see a brief message display when you do so. You can then paste the link in a text message, email, or other location to share it. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n

      1. Embed playlist<\/span>: This creates code for you to embed on your blog or website. You can choose the color and customize the size for the player. When you\u2019re ready, select Copy<\/span> to place the code on your clipboard and paste it on your site where needed. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n

        Share With a Spotify Code\n<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

        Another option for sharing your playlist is to create a Spotify Code. A Spotify Code is an image that contains the Spotify logo and a sound wave. When you send or share the image, your friend simply scans the code to open your playlist.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        1. Follow the same steps as above to display the share options for your playlist. Choose Copy link<\/span>.\n<\/li>
        2. Head to the Spotify Codes website<\/a>, paste the playlist link into the box, and pick Get Spotify Code<\/span>.\n<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n

          1. You\u2019ll then see your playlist name with your Spotify username<\/a> at the top. This lets you confirm that the link you entered is correct.\n<\/li>

                You can also share a playlist from the Spotify app on your mobile device quite easily and using a variety of options. You can copy the link, post a link on social media, or share the Spotify Code.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                Open Spotify on your mobile device and go to the Your Library<\/span> (Android) or Library<\/span> (iPhone) tab. Choose the playlist you want to share and do one of the following.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                1. Tap the three dots<\/span> on the playlist detail screen and select Share<\/span> near the bottom of the screen.\n<\/li>
                2. Pick the share option you\u2019d like to use such as Copy link, Instagram Stories, Facebook Messenger, Twitter, or another sharing method. You can also choose More<\/span> for additional options per your device\u2019s sharing setup.\n<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n

                    1. On Android, capture a screenshot and save it to your device to share as you please. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n
