It\u2019s easy to make a playlist <\/a>with all your favorite downloaded tracks, too, but what happens if you want to delete your downloaded songs from Spotify? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This might be to save storage space on your device, or simply because you don\u2019t listen to those songs anymore. We\u2019ll show you how to remove downloads from Spotify on your Android or iOS device, as well as how to do it on your PC and on the web. <\/p>\n\n\n

How to Remove Downloads from Spotify on Android and iOS\n<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019ll start with the Android and iOS apps, as they\u2019re the most popular options for listening to Spotify on the go. If your phone doesn\u2019t have much storage space, you might want to remove your downloaded tracks to save valuable space. Here\u2019s how to remove downloads from Spotify in the mobile app \u2014 the steps are the same across both the Android and iOS apps.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Open the Spotify app and go to Your Library<\/span>.\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Find the album, playlist, or song you want to delete from Downloads. \n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Click the downward-facing arrow<\/span> button (it should be green for Downloaded tracks\/playlists\/albums) to the left of the Shuffle button to toggle it off.\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. You\u2019ll see a message saying, \u201cRemove From Downloads?<\/span>\u201d Click Remove <\/span>to delete the album, playlist, or track \u2014 but remember, you then won\u2019t be able to play it offline.\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. The downloaded track, playlist, or album should now be deleted from your device.\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    If you\u2019ve downloaded music from Spotify to your PC, it\u2019s easy to remove these files by using the Spotify app for Windows or Mac \u2014 or you can access Spotify through your web browser.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Removing Downloads From Spotify on the App\n<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    Here\u2019s how to delete downloaded music from Spotify on your Windows PC or Mac computer using the Spotify app. The steps to follow are the same regardless of which OS you\u2019re using. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Unfortunately, the Spotify web player<\/a> doesn\u2019t currently give you the option to download songs, albums, or playlists to your PC or mobile device. When using the web player at open.spotify.com<\/a>, you\u2019ll notice there\u2019s no green download button next to albums, playlists, or tracks. If you want to download music to your Spotify on PC, you\u2019ll need to use the Windows or Mac app to manage your downloads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
