Don’t worry, though. A simple solution is to export your presentation to a widely compatible file format and check the word count using alternative applications and tools. This step-by-step guide will walk you through the process.\n<\/p>\n\n\n

Method 1: Download the Presentation as a Text File\n<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The most straightforward way to check the word count of a Google Slides presentation is to download it as a text file. You can paste the words into a text editing application or an online word count tool to get the exact figure.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To download a Google Slides presentation in the .TXT format:\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Method 2: Convert to PPTX and Display Word Count in PowerPoint\n<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

            If you have Microsoft PowerPoint installed on your PC or Mac, you can convert the Google Slides presentation as a .PPTX file, import the document to PowerPoint, and check the word count that way.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
